Elizabeth Lee Expands to Brick-and-Mortar Location in Historic Elk City
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 27, 2026 (Charleston, WV) — Elizabeth Lee, LLC, the online lifestyle boutique known for its thoughtfully curated collection of leisure-inspired goods, is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of its first brick-and-mortar retail location. The storefront will be located at 301 Washington Street West in the historic Elk City district of Charleston, with a projected opening in June 2026.
The new retail space will be housed in the beautifully restored Ort Building, an Italianate-style structure originally built in the 1890s. Named for the Ort sisters who once operated a grocery store on site, the building has been meticulously preserved and restored, offering a distinctive blend of historic charm and modern functionality.
Located in the heart of the rapidly growing Elk City Historic District, the store will join a vibrant and expanding community of boutiques, restaurants, a brewery, distillery, winery, and professional services. The area has seen significant recent growth, including the addition of more than 150 new jobs within a 100-yard radius and several new businesses opening in recent months, with more planned.

The Elizabeth Lee storefront will expand upon its online offerings, featuring leisure apparel, classic accessories, home goods, needlepoint supplies, books, and curated gifts that reflect the brand’s “quiet life” philosophy.
